2. Information we collect
Information you provide

- Exchange API credentials — if you choose to connect an exchange, the API key/secret you provide, stored encrypted (see Section 5).
- Payment data — subscription plan, transaction identifiers, and, for cryptocurrency payments, wallet/ transaction data. Card or crypto payment processing is handled by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers.
- Support & communications — messages you send us, including via support chat, and their contents.

Information collected automatically

- Device & connection data — IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, and approximate location derived from IP.
- Cookies & local storage — as described in Section 6.
Market data (prices, order books, trades) shown in the Service is obtained from public exchange feeds and is not personal to you; where such data is streamed directly by your browser from an exchange, it is subject to that exchange's terms and privacy practices.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- To authenticate you, manage your account, and route the orders you configure to your connected exchange;
- To process subscriptions, payments, and receipts;
- To provide support and respond to your requests;
- To send service, security, and transactional communications, and — where permitted — product updates (you can opt out of marketing);
- To monitor, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
4. Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies)
We process personal data on the bases of: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request); legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and operate the Service, and prevent abuse); consent (for optional cookies and marketing, which you may withdraw); and legal obligation (to meet regulatory, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements).
5. Exchange API keys
If you connect an exchange, your API credentials are encrypted at rest and are used only to transmit the instructions you configure to that exchange. They are stored in an isolated store, are not exposed back to your browser, and are not shared for any purpose other than operating the connection you requested. You control the permission scope of your keys at your exchange and can revoke them at any time. No storage method is completely secure; you provide keys at your own risk (see the Terms).
6. Cookies & analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and secure the Service. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand usage and improve the product. Where required, we request consent for non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser; blocking some cookies may impair functionality.
7. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed:
- Service providers / processors — hosting, storage, analytics, email, and payment processors that process data on our behalf under contract;
- Exchanges — to route the instructions you configure, using the credentials you provide;
- Legal & safety — to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or lawful government requests, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, users, or the public;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, and security obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion as described in Section 11.
9. Security
We use technical and organisational measures including encryption of sensitive data at rest, isolation of trading credentials, access controls, HTTPS in transit, and server-side validation. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and devices.
10. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than yours. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) where required by applicable law.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EEA/UK, you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" (we do not sell personal information) — and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them. To exercise any right, contact [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL]; we may need to verify your identity.
12. Children
The Service is not directed to and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Third-party links & services
The Service may link to or interoperate with third-party sites and services (including exchanges and payment processors) that have their own privacy practices, for which we are not responsible. Review their policies.
14. Changes & contact
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes take effect when posted with a new effective date or as otherwise notified. Contact us at [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL], [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [INSERT ADDRESS].
